I love this series of books so maybe I'm a little biased. But this is a shorter simpler text for the youngest of fans while featuring the characters of the original duck and goose book that my older book nerd loves so they both clamor to read this. In fact my young toddler, at just over a year, almost always refuses to read books but this is one she continuously picks up and will sit through. The bright simple illustrations are a big draw. The repetition of the word "no" is something she can repeat well as one of the first recognizable sounds she could make which I think she liked to show off. Plus for as simple as the story is, I still get a little level of entertainment from it. I personally think this is a great book for a young baby or toddler and I have bought this for other families as a gift. Love it!

    Vorischt allerdings, es handelt sich um ein kleines Bilderbuch mit wenig Text und sehr wenig Seiten.
    Fraglich ist auch, ob die kleinen Kinder, für die es gemacht ist, die Ironie am Ende des Buches verstehen. Für die "Großen" ist das Ende jedenfalls zum Schmunzeln.
