With my neck fused from C3-T1 I’m always looking for ways to relieve tightness, stiffness & pain. I asked Santa for this mat & so far I’m loving it. I’m working up to 40 minute sessions, right now at 15. This company says that for those who can tolerate it, bare skin is best, but you have to work up to that too. I recommended it in my Midlife FB group & others are trying it too!

    i wouldn’t call this cheap but paying a bit more for this was totally worth it. The rose-shaped plastic acupressure points well distributed over a memory foam pad are prickly yes but comfortable to lie on, giving you the relief you need. The headrest i don’t use much but good to have in case you want that arched surface for extra back, neck and butt/back thigh relief. The more you use it, the more you’ll get used to the prickliness and the better you’ll feel. i also like to place my palms over them, adjusting the pressure with my bum or pressing them on the arched pillow, which feels so good and relaxing too. Thankfully, it’s don’t have to rely on this as much as i used to (it’s done it’s job) but i’m glad i have it as i can always use it when i need it. This product is well made so i think it will last a lifetime and more. If you suffer from chronic back pain and/or stiffness from stress and wish to alleviate your pain by taking better care of yourself, this product will be a blessing for you.

    So I am new to acupressure/this type of mat.. I ❤️ it from the first time.. I think the hardest part is getting on /off.. after a few days of using it I have found it best for me to position the mat /pillow where I plan on laying on it, and log roll onto it.. but to each his own.. yes it hurts but also feels like a really good back scratch.. I have I would say average pain tolerance and prefer a deep tissue type of massage so probably helps with pain part of sensation.. I tried it with tee shirt but didn't really feel anything.. in fact I recommend trying it with shirt first to see if it is too much or if you need to get the more intense experience.. but for me it feels amazing.. a combo of pain sting itch and bliss all at same time.. hard to explain but highly recommended 👌

    I've had an acupressure mat before but it mistreated and ended up falling apart. I am really impressed with this brand though and LOVE having the neck pillow - that's something I was missing before. I think it helps you relax into the acupressure more quickly having the proper neck support. I always sleep better after doing this routine in the evenings.

    I was really hoping this product would work for me but it didn't seem to help my lower back pain at all. I tried laying on it both with and without a shirt as recommended and noticed that because of my broad shoulders my full back wasn't fitting on the pad so my arms were getting scraped. Everyone is different so it might work for someone else but it didn't for me so it went back.
