I have long, fine, curly/wavy hair that gets frizzy and tangles easily. To style, I usually need to section and blow dry, sometimes use a straightning iron on the stubborn waves, and then a curling iron to finish. Today, I let my hair air dry (which makes it super curly and frizzy) and tried this tool for the first time and was blown away. It brushed straight through without getting snagged, and I used it at around 400 degrees- not the highest setting. With a few slow root to end passes, each strand became soft, shiny, and straight. I sectioned my hair, and it took less than ten minutes to do my whole head, with ONE TOOL!!! I cannot rave about this enough- I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to try one of these!!! The price was great, the tool itself is good quality, and the time I will save now makes this worth every penny. If you’re on the fence, trust me and try this out.

Works on thick hair , enough said!
The photo is after 2 passes through one section of hair @ 390degrees, I definitely could’ve used a lower temperature with this brush. I have a short “faux hawk”, so this takes less time/ heat to straighten out my lil pony puff, and add a slight bump for styling. I’d wash and conditioned my hair the previous day, so this (part w/comb in it) is my hair in all its natural glory . Brush has a very sturdy handle & heats quickly. The button placement did not hinder use, and I’m left handed 😉. As with all new things, you will have that 1st time heat /smoke action, but it dissipated quickly. This will probably alleviate having to travel with a blow dryer and flat iron, I am going to try using old school rollers to set curl for styling .

This is probably the worst purchase I've made in the hair tools category. I've had it 8 months and only used it maybe 20-30 times. It smokes continuously and is probably an electrical fire liability. It snags hair horrifically. It seems to take every hair product and keep it forever. I also think it was way, way hotter than the temperature indicated. Absolutely do not purchase this. (And yes, as of this review, it's in the garbage.)

I got this to help with the girls hair. One kid has 4c hair and THICK! The other has 3c. Her hair is a lot thinner and less insane! It was pretty easy to do.
Only problem I have with the brush is it doesn’t allow me to get to the roots of the hair.
A hour later…the hair is starting to curl and get frizzy. Normally when is flat iron is used it lasts 2 days before it starts to get frizzy. 😑
