The silicon overlay allows air to get under the dish, allowing for a more thorough drying process. This would be a great house warming gift! This item can be used by anyone (we all have air dry/hand wash dishes/knives/utensils) and a nice, upscale treat that they wouldn’t necessarily buy for themselves but would LOVE. The neutral colors will incorporate easily into any kitchen color scheme. Stains are easily removed by kit provided and the overlay makes this non-slip and weight is sturdy but not overly heavy.

Works as described but what I like best is the compact design. I don’t always need the large pad like in the morning for coffee cups and it is easily put in the drawer or under the sink when I need more counter space. Absorbs and dries as described. Color works great in my kitchen. I like it and with this quality it will last a long time.

I love this mat so much! It’s pretty and functional. It has a good surface area and everything drains and dries with no watery mess. The mat itself dries quickly too! I like the trifold design , as it doesn’t need to be full size if I only have a few things and it makes storing it a snap. I like that these are made with sustainability in mind and I read that starting this year Dorai will start a dedicated recycling program for their products. A real bonus , as I try to keep as much as possible out of the landfill!

Just received this today! I have used it for lunch and dinner dishes.. it’s a win for sure!! Large capacity to hold all the dishes. The mat dried in between doing the two meals. The quality is excellent! Nice and heavy, and fits nicely on my very small counter.. wonderful product! So very happy with my purchase! Well worth the price!!
