This bag works to keep your car seat clean & probably less banged up than without it but don't expect it to stand up to super rough handling. It is a lightweight bag, not a heavy duty bag but this is reflected in the price. There was plenty of room for my convertible car seat to fit w/a couple of towels strapped in the harness w/the easy adjuster to tighten the cord. I did take the advice of a reviewer of this one or the umbrella stroller bag & used duct tape on the seams prior to the flights. I purchased both the umbrella stroller & the car seat bags & both held up well--no rips or tears & no damages or dirt added to baby equipment. Even hubby thought this was a good idea AFTER he saw another dad pick up their gate-checked stroller (without a bag) have a bunch of stuff fall out of the stroller since they hadn't emptied the basket before gate-checking. Nice to know that if the towels came loose from the harness, since the harness wasn't super tight w/just 2 towels, that they wouldn't get lost since this bag can be closed.

This bag did what I expected, kept my car seat clean!

I did end up checking the car seat but the airline was nice enough to take the car seat in this bag (turned inside out so that 'GATE CHECK' wasn't visible) and put into a large clear plastic bag to protect from any rain (since it was rainy weather when we traveled). All was well but I felt better having this bag protect the car seat since a plastic bag is not exactly sturdy. Purchase price was worth my peace of mind :-)

I didn't notice that there was a little holster for AirTags if you wanted to put on one until after purchasing. We didn't use it - but it seemed like a practical feature for future use. Shoulder straps were easy to use and made grabbing our items a breeze. There was minimal padding, so I wouldn't feel confident dropping off my car seat at checked baggage - but it was good enough for gate check.

Esta bolsa es ideal cuando la línea aérea ofrece facturar sillas de coche infantiles de manera gratuita. Es el caso de Ryanair (aunque pueda parecer increíble). En mi caso, fui de vacaciones una semana a Fuerteventura, con Ryanair, volando desde Madrid, y facturar gratis la silla de coche nos permitió no tener que recurrir a la silla de coche que te ofrecen las empresas de alquiler de vehículos, que suelen ser sucias, viejas, peores, y sobre todo, mucho más caras (me habría salido por 80 €). Incluso aunque Ryanair me hubiese cobrado por facturar la silla de coche, aún me habría compensado llevarla a Fuerteventura.
Gracias a esta bolsa, se evitan daños a la silla y manchas, sobre todo. Y también se ahorra uno el tener que plastificarla en el aeropuerto. Y la bolsa, cuando no se usa, se pliega y se guarda en una autofunda con cremallera.
La bolsa es grande y cabe cualquier silla de coche, por muy mazacote que sea. Yo tengo una silla marca Bébé Confort modelo ISEOS ISOFIX, que ocupa bastante porque tiene base ISOFIX, y cupo perfectamente.
Además, aún con la silla dentro de la bolsa, sobra espacio en ella para meter pañales y demás objetos del "ajuar" del bebé. Es un modo "legal" de evitar tener que facturar maletas extra, o pagar por sobrepeso. Aunque para hacer esto, recomiendo adquirir alguna bolsa más consistente, que no he encontrado en Amazon España (tomen nota, personal de Amazon ES), pero sí en Amazon UK. De hecho, posiblemente yo la habría comprado de no ser porque los plazos de entrega eran más dilatados y necesitaba la bolsa para volar de manera inminente:
