    Really like the style and operation of this cordless table lamp. Family likes it, too! (always a big challenge in my house).

    Lamp base is heavy enough to keep it upright in gently breezes. Can't make any guarantees about tornado winds, thank goodness.

    Black matte finish is attractive. Hasn't scratched yet.
    Upright support pole comes in two pieces, giving user the option of making lamp taller or shorter.
    I did NOT experience any problems assembling the unit.

    Battery life is good. Haven't had to recharge it yet though it's been in use, off and on, for several hours.
    It looks like a bright lamp as you approach it, but does not spread a lot of illumination beyond a foot or two radius. Certainly enough for a dim-room dinner for two, but you'll need a bunch for a banquet table.

    Initially I was not thrilled by the printed on-off and adjustment control on the top center of the white plastic top of the lamp, but was quickly impressed by how family members instinctively knew how to turn it on and off. Better than locating a switch in some hidden or non-obvious place.

    The only unexpected 'feature' is the location of the USB charging port hiding in the white plastic disc underneath the black lampshade. Makes a lot of sense, though. Locates terminal in a hidden place under the shade, making it unnecessary for the designer to come up with a sturdy method of hiding wires and USB somewhere on the metal base, requiring a wiring connection through the two removable pole segments. Good, practical design.

    We like this lamp. Looks good on kitchen table and will be sturdy enough for use on our deck table, if the weather ever gets warm enough! Review was written in the February 2025 northern state cold. LOL.

    Whether you're trying to light up your dining table or add some ambiance to your outdoor seating area, this is a nice, affordable lamp to do so.

    Like many other lamps out there, this one lets you choose between a warm white, neutral white and cool white. You do so by cycling through when it powers on. Tap the power "button" once and the light turns on to warm white; tap again and it switches to cool white; tap again and it switches to neutral white; tap yet again and the light turns off. There's no way to set the color temperature and just turn the light on and off using only that color temp.

    Dimming the light requires you to touch and hold the power button and then it will dim or brighten. Thankfully the light does seem to remember the last brightness setting for each of the three color temperatures (i.e. it'll remember you had the warm white at a low level for ambiance and the cool white at full brightness for reading) when you turn the light on and off.

    I like that the light can be one of two heights. The pole that connects the top of the light with the base is actually two sections, so you can choose to use one or both depending on what height you prefer.

    One thing to note is that unlike another cordless lamp I have that looks identical to this one, this lamp's USB-C charging port does not have a little rubber cover/plug. It is just left exposed. In reality, that's probably not a real issue because it's hidden on the underside of the lamp "shade" and even though the product listing says that this is IP65 waterproof that doesn't mean that this should be submerged in water.

    One "flaw" with all of the lights I've seen like this one is that light is emitted from both the top and bottom of the light. When it comes to using this to set the mood on a dinner table, I would prefer to be able to have the light only come out the bottom of the lamp shade and avoid the potential for glare o flight coming from the top of the lamp shade.

    Time will tell how the battery holds up over repeated use, but I will update this review if we have problems further down the road.

    When this arrived I was impressed with the quality of the components. The base and stem are made from metal and have a good weight to them, ideal to stop the light from tipping. However, when I tried to assemble it I could not get the two stem parts to screw together no matter how I tried. Eventually I used some brut force and was able to get them to screw together, but it seems like the machining of the parts is lacking. It works well and recharges as specified, although it does take a few hours. It's worth noting that the top of the lamp is not black, but white with a power icon printed onto it. It was not possible to see this on the images in the description.
