Had this saved in my cart for a while and finally decided to just try it based on the reviews. At my age (60) I’m all about simplicity in my daily makeup routine and I really appreciate eye crayons. I’m a big fan of Thrive products and have several of their Eye Brightener shadows. But up until recently most of the colors were shimmers, which I have decided don’t look as good on my mature skin.
I had a special event coming up so decided to just try this one in a matte color. I’m so glad I did! It was perfect! Color is good with my skin tone, it blends easily with the sponge tip, and it stayed all day. I like that it is perfect for daily wear for work, but it can be layered for a more intense color for evening wear. And the price point is great.
Only complaint is that the stick was broken inside the tube, but I was able to just push it back down inside and it seems fine. That’s not the fault of the manufacturer but Amazon’s sparse packaging, so I won’t deduct a star for that.
Great product! I will order more.
