This generic electric heating pad from "feisou" works great. At 17"x33", it's large enough that it can double as a small heated blanket/throw. As the winter months approach, I've been using it keep my feet warm while reading on the sofa. The 3-button wired remote (power, temp, timer) is easy to operate and the basic LCD display provides enough information. The pad requires AC power to operate - but the 10' power cord is long enough to not be an issue for me.
There are 6 levels of heat (ranging from ~100F to ~150F) and the pad warms up fairly quickly. There is also an adjustable timer on the remote and it will auto-shutoff after 3 hrs (a nice safety feature)..
