I have grown interested in using Castor oil for joint and muscle relief. I ordered this Heritage Store Organic Castor Oil based upon the great reviews, blogger suggestions, videos I watched, and it was a great lower price on Amazon Prime Day. I learned a lot as I used this castor oil and ordered other products to alleviate some of the hassle of using the oil. The cotton packs with Velcro straps were a bust because I developed an allergic reaction to the straps that touched my skin. Next, I discovered cotton flannel cloths that can be placed around my knee, arm, etc., which would then protect my skin from the straps so that I wouldn’t get another rash. In the meantime, I used some bandages from my local pharmacy to cover smaller areas during the day and while I slept. Later on, I ordered various sizes of adhesive castor oil wraps that are like bandages. This Heritage castor oil really has no scent. I use it sparingly by applying the oil on small areas with a Q-tip. On larger places, like my knees, I prefer to massage the oil into my skin before I wrap it with a cotton flannel cloth and place a Velcro wrap around it while I sleep so I can avoid taking any OTC meds. I get good results by morning, and my knees no longer ache. The Baker’s cyst behind one knee even seems to dissipate somewhat, that is, until I go walk outside again. Ugh! The varicose vein did lighten up after 1 ½ months. My small angioblast on my right arm seemed to flatten a little in about 3 weeks, but I gave up on it. My eyebrows are about the same with the original tiny hairs that haven’t grown any further after 1 ½ months of treatment and dealing with getting the oil on the top rims of my eyeglasses each day. All-in-all, this Heritage Store Organic Castor Oil has the best and most immediate affect when I use it overnight to relieve my knee pain, but other long-term applications are slow to show any good results.

    Works great for face and for castor oil packs. The benefits for face are amazing. The smell is a little strong, but that is not an issue. It is thick and stays on the face to keep moisture locked. And as far as Castor oil packs go, I use wrapped around my abdomen for detoxing, and it works wonders. It takes care of any bloat I have and helps keep me regular. I have issues with slow digestion/constipation due to a diabetic medication I take and this helps with that issue.     Excellent quality castor oil! I’ve tried different castor oils and I like Heritage the best, the color is as it should be and in a dark glass bottle. Consistency is good quality, I’ve been putting this on disposable castor oil patches, mic a few drops with my face cream, use it it directly on my eyelashes and eyebrows(starting t see some growth after 2 weeks), and I gently tap some under my eyes to alleviate dark circles. It’s effective but be patient/consistant, skin stays well hydrated too! I use this in mostly in my night time routine as it would be too oily for daytime unless I use a couple a drop or two with my face cream. I am in my early 50’s and have dry skin.

    the actual product is amazing. 5 stars. quality and everything is great. put this on my 5 month olds hair and in 2 days it was already thicker. the only problem i have is the bottle looks different from the picture given. the bottle recieved is actually better than the bottle in the picture, it has a different cap which is more efficient, but the seller should change the image. the castor oil is amazing.

    i gave my daughter 1/2 a teaspoon of it to eat because she had constipation and within an hour or 2 her bowels were back to normal. highly recommend.
