These are the only jeans that fit my son. He is very slim so we buy the “slim” size for the right length and then also cinch up the adjustable elastic to make it fit him around. He loves to wear his cowboy boots so we only buy the “bootcut” style. Lots of other “slim” jeans also have a slim fit leg that does not work with boots. My son has been wearing this brand+style exclusively for at least 3 years. When they go on sale I just buy 6 in the next size for the next season bc I know they will fit as he gets taller.
I will say the button is hard for him to do on his own. The snaps in the smaller sizes were easier for him (since we have it cinched to fit tightly so they don’t fall off).
Currently he is 8.5 years old, 49 inches tall, ~48-50 lbs, and has been wearing size 8 since the fall. The 10s are a little too long so they are on hold for next winter.
He does wear holes in the knees so we need at least 6 pairs per size. And I keep the dark wash pair hung up for church only so those don’t get worn out. He wears jeans every day and he plays hard. But there will be no passing these down to little brother lol
