    Dimensions are accurate and looks exactly as shown online. The plastic material is a bit thinner than expected especially compared to another water mat we own, but seems sturdy otherwise. I think this is a problem with every water mat we’ve looked at but there is a strong plastic smell (like a new pool toy inflatable) when you first open it. You’ll want to air it out for a couple days before putting your baby on this. It’s cute and very inexpensive and something that will be helpful when doing tummy time.

      This is such a cute tummy time activity mat. It is very cute and colorful with lots to look at. It is fairly easy to use and getting ready for baby. I did let it air out for a few days before filling and introducing to my daughter as it smelled like strong plastic out of the box. It really is an affordable tummy time mat that is a little different than all the cloth ones.

      I got this for my nephew that comes to visit often and needs some things to keep him entertained (without breaking the bank). I wasn't quite sure what to do to get it going at first as there were no instructions but was able to figure it out eventually by looking online at other, similar items. There is a strong plastic smell when you open it so I wouldn't advise using it right away. Maybe take it out of the box and let it air out for a day or two? The box it comes in is good for gift-giving; has a picture of what it is, BPA-free label, etc. I'm not sure what to do with it when my nephew isn't here though - I don't want to leave water in it but there's no way to clean the inside. I've been filling the water part and adding a little bit of bleach to the water if I think I'm going to leave it in there a while. Otherwise I'll fill it with just water, empty it when done, and hanging it up in our bathtub in hopes that it dries.

      My nephew loves it! He loves looking at all of the color areas animals and really likes the feel of it with water in it. Highly recommend!

      I did not like the chemical smell when I opened this up. The design however is cute and my baby immediately was interested. There are no instructions, but you can find them on the website. For reference: the outer ring you manually blow up. The inner ring you fill with water. There are additional maintenance instructions on the listing page to be aware of. The price is right for this quality (8.99 at the time of this review). I wouldn’t pay more than $10. Id take care on how you dry this as well to keep the inner foam dry to prevent molding when not in use. 4 stars due to having to hunt for instructions, the strong chemical smell, and the upkeep.
