  • 2 oz [60 ml] whiskey
  • 1 oz [30 ml] Simple Syrup
  • ½ oz [15 ml] fresh lemon juice
  • ½ oz [15 ml] fresh lime juice
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 or 2 drops grenadine, for garnish

Mistletoe Kiss

A riff on the classic Whiskey Sour, this deliciously zesty drink will make you pucker up—so go stand under the mistletoe!

Put a big cube of ice in an old fashioned glass or chill a coupe glass. Pour the whiskey, simple syrup, lemon juice, lime juice, and egg white into a shaker. Shake vigorously until foamy. Strain the mixture into the prepared glass. Garnish with a drop or two of grenadine.

    On page 67, so about halfway through, enjoying this book beside our bright Christmas tree and had to head to Amazon immediately to tell the author how excited I am to create her drinks! What a lovely, festive job with the book layout, photography, styling. Photos are The Christmas spirit! Love the little quip with each one. Best recipe book I own. Will adore this one. It was part of a Christmas gifts roundup online and so glad I bought for myself!!

    Cute cover and design but they basically just renamed regular drinks to make them sound Christmas-y. There are very few actually Christmas drinks and those are all just the regular ones you could find anywhere. Nothing new or unique here worth buying the book for.

    I love stacking books around my house (outside of the library) and I love switching out the books for the holidays. The ones at my bar area are usually just themed like the rest of my house, but for holidays, I love switching them out with themed drink books. This one is PERFECT. Not only does it look cute, but the recipes inside are super yummy too. It also makes a great gift! I combined this with a blanket and a couple cute drink glasses from Anthro and it was a hit!
