Worth it, buy it
I’m a mom of a 3.5 & 1.5 year old boys and I’m always finding ways to entertain the kiddos. The boys grew up playing with Lego Duplo but the older kid has not been challenged building with Duplo. This Lego set was his first big boy set and it has been amazing for his development. The set has all the pieces to make 10 different projects. Pro tips- 1. for my kid, I separated all the pieces according to the instruction booklet. Then he followed each step independently and built his projects. This also eliminates the possibility of missing parts. Separate them in their own ziplocks or small boxes. (The younger one liked to throw all the pieces around like confetti.) 2. Search on Legos website and download the other projects not included in the booklet for this brick box. There are like 5 more additional projects on .com. 3. Allow kid to zoom in on the pic on a tablet to figure out the next steps. Allows for independent play and problem solving before adult intervention. The set on sale was a plus. This opened up my toddlers want to have other sets to build and spark his imagination.
