My parents have a solo chipmunk that lives in their yard (whom they have named “Ippy”). I saw this feeder and instantly knew he would enjoy getting his peanuts from his own dedicated dispenser. Lo and behold, he took to it straight away and seemed to know that it was built just for him. He checked it out on all sides and sat on the little stools to reach in and grab his peanuts. It was the cutest thing, like he couldn’t believe his eyes. The build quality is great, no issues with installation. In fact, the only issue we’re having is that one of the jays found the feeder and is able to take Ippy’s peanuts. (We have some doves and smaller birds that are fed each morning at the other end of the yard, but there’s one jay that is particularly observant and will find any stray peanut or peanut bowl…so it’s more our issue than an issue with the feader haha). This is such a fun way to artfully dispense seeds to your squirrel and chipmunk friends, definitely recommend.

I had an absolute BLAST building this with my son but it could use some washers
Awesome build quality and easy instructions, the included material was easily packaged and separated so that you could follow the instructions easily. It comes with the strap that you can use in case you don't want to drill into the wall or a fence in our case. The bar stools are a nice touch and the size was perfect. Not too small and not too big. It is easy to fill and keep track of, yhe cover is semi-transparent so you can get a good idea of how much food is left in there. My one gripe with this product is that it doesn't include washers to secure the screws better onto the product. Luckily I had some saved on my toolbox. I am happy I kept those washers for this situation. It is winter now so I haven't seen any squirrels come by, but the birds have been somewhat curious so I am happy that it is getting some attention by the critters in our back yard.
