I ordered these as winter approached to place under the plants I will bring in from the outside. These trays are sturdy enough to keep the pot full of dirt from crushing the tray. There are channels to keep the roots from being water logged. The pack came with five trays and that was perfect for me. I am looking forward to seeing how successful this winter will be using these trays. I will order larger trays in the spring for my large outdoor planters.
