I'm updating my review to 4 stars. I submitted a return/replacement request and received a new terrarium within a few days. The new one arrived in perfect condition. I'll need to return the broken one, a bit of an inconvenience, but I understand. Hopefully, the return of the damaged one will help the maker improve design or QA. So, I'm changing my review from 3 stars to 4. Original Review: I had this product saved for about a month while I took the time to research and compare others that are similar. I finally decided to go with this one, in spite of the few negative reviews. Unfortunately, one of the two items I received arrived a few hours ago and one had a broken wooden base. I'm so sad because I've been looking forward to these for a while. I was able to quickly assemble the (unbroken) one. It's so adorable and the size is perfect. I'm happy that the rod fits through the holes on the glass and the finish on the wood is beautiful and natural, perfect for my room's aesthetic... I just wished I could use both.

It is a very attractive little place to set my plant cuttings. The wood is light weight but attractive. The glass bulbs are pretty sturdy. All in all a good price and a good product.
