Pretty and solid. This curtain rod is holding a very heavy set of drapes and doing a good job of it. It adjusts to a large size but as you expand it it does get a little droopy. It also slips around a bit in the brackets but really these are minor issues I like the way they look and did buy two for different rooms. They look great in both places. Excellent value for the money.
