This is a visually lovely blanket, it is very soft to the touch. But please note it is indeed thread bare in the separation of rows. Mine arrived in a bag and then a shipping bag over that. It had several holes torn into the bag and the blanket had 3 spots that were filthy dirty from being drug along a truck deck, fibers were pulled and damaged. So I had to pretreat and wash the brand new blanket and trim off the fiber pulls. Picture is just one spot…and yes that is the pulled and damaged blanket fiber.
