    This is a nice quality, durable set that can be customized for age and ability. One side of the wooden beams is completely smooth while the other side has pegs, ridges, etc to make it more challenging to navigate as they progress. Both sides of the stepping stones are smooth.
    HOWEVER- there is no grip to the material so it WILL slide around on hardwood floors, and I can imagine on carpet too. Keep that in mind when arranging the placement to prevent your kiddo from sliding into a full split😬 I also found that the pegs on the beam are a little too tall and close together, so unless your child has doll-sized feet or they go on their tiptoes, it is very easy for the foot to partially land a peg and their foot goes sideways. If the pegs were a little shorter or further apart then it wouldn't be an issue. It is a hit with the kids though!
