I loved this, but it didn’t love me!
This cream was a little icky on first sight, and I had my doubts. But it goes onto the skin beautifully, dries with no stickiness or scent and your skin feels baby smooth. I used it as a base cream in the morning and night before I put on all my other skin care. Unfortunately within 5-7 days, I developed hives. I thought it was just a little breakout, I’ve never had hives before, so I let them go longer than I should have and one morning I woke up looking like this! After a trip to urgent care and a few days of steroids, I am fixed, but I’m so unhappy that I can’t use this cream! I really don’t think that my allergy was typical, but please do a patch test on your arm before using all over your face.

    I have been using this product for a few weeks. I have used other CosRx products and found them to be effective and quite reasonably priced. My regular hydration cream had run out. When I looked for my usual product, I discovered the price had increased from $75 to $115.
    I am so happy I bought this product. With consistent use my skin has been rejuvenated. My skin looks dewy and is soft. This product mega hydrates. A small dab goes a long way. It’s just what I needed at my age (66). I highly doubt that I will be looking for my past hydration cream.

    Its not that i don't like this cream. I actually really liked it. The texture is nice, light but hydrating. It is good quality & didn't leave a sticky residue. It seemed to hydrate my dry skin pretty well. CosRX is a great brand & i use other products of theirs. I only got to use this 3 times though, bc apparently I am allergic to snail mucin! After the 3rd day I started getting hives. I had to discontinue use and ended up giving it to my mom, who didn't have a reaction and loves it. I got it on sale for 8$ so it wasn't like i was out a bunch of money. Btw the bottle is HUGE. Itll last a while.
    Apparently, a lot of people are allergic to snail mucin, so always do a patch test before putting it on your face (as with any product)!! I give it 4 stars bc it is a good product, but beware of the allergy potential. I know it says to patch test first, and it's my fault for not doing that, but i wish they would tell people about the potential and frequency of snail mucin allergies. Yes, I have Google, so again more my fault than theirs, but i just want companies to be more transparent.

    Snail mucin is amazing for dry hands and really every skin problem I have encountered. If your hands are constantly drying due to the chemicals you have to use at work and the constant handwashing, this is a economical and highly effective solution. It's also amazing on pimples, cuts, bug bites, I mean I find it to be better than triple antibiotic, coconut oil, or straight petroleum jelly on everything.

    Odorless, fast absorbing. I love this crap.

This brand is very solid, as goes with lots of Korean skincare, but this one specifically is a must-buy. I have used it before myself, and surprisingly isn't sticky or have a weird smell like most people could safely assume. It is slightly thicker and gooper (by a tad) in texture, but is not sticky. You will want to rinse your hands after use because it leaves a bit of residue that you can definitely feel, but once again, isn't sticky. It is very moisturizing and very good for the skin. I definitely recommend you adding this to your skincare routine. You won't regret it!

The new tube makes it much easier to get the right amount and then apply; previously it was in a traditional make-up container that you "scooped" out of, and that could be messy given the properties of the mucin. New users will be struck by how "goopy" it is until you get it on your face and massage it in. It really works. Especially after a long day, you can feel your skin drink this stuff up. As noted I use it particularly when I feel like I've been under stress, or stressed my skin, e.g. after a day at the beach or a hike or really long day at work. You can't beat the price point and the mucin deeply moisturizes and relaxes the skin. I'm also a fan of the honey-based/propolis products of this line; very gentle on your face while effective.

    OK, the idea of putting snail slime on my face is a really WEIRD idea. This is coming from someone who screams and freaks out when I almost step on a snail when I walk down a pathway. And there was a bit of weird tingling sensation... Like it's doing... SOMETHING! And the moisturizing lasted all night! I couldn't wait to wash my face and slather more snail juice on my face! and it plays really well with the other stuff I put on in the morning and at night. This is gonna be part of my routine from now on!

    I love this stuff! My skin gets really dry and this always instantly restores my skin, leaving it soft, dewy and plump. Prefer the bottle over the tub as feels more hygienic. This lasts for so long as a pea-sized amount will cover the whole face-neck-chest. Never breaks me out like other thicker moisturisers can, its really lightweight but effective. It also gives you a glow/glass skin look. My mum gets eczema and I tried this on her and it really helped soothe her skin too. Only thing is I feel this makes my foundation lift so I only use it at nighttime and on no-makeup days
