I was expecting a "regular" shirt type turtleneck, but this is a very thin "long underwear" type shirt. It is very soft and warm, but do order at least 1 size up as it's very tight. However, for layering, it works well. I wore it under a sweater as a base layer (which now reading the description closely, I believe is the purpose) but the photos make it look like a shirt you can wear on its own, which is NOT true! It is definitely underwear!
