I've been using a regular smaller towel for years. I've tried a microfiber wrap but my hair was too long for it and it didn't absorb water well. My semi wavy long hair has been thinning for a while, and after reading how regular towels can damage hair I decided to invest in a "hair" towel. I looked at a lot of "hair" towels, read reviews and finally decided on this one. I admit the price almost put me off. It absorbs water well, I can wrap it like I'm used to (I don't use the loop). My hair isn't frizzy around my face anymore and I have less frizz overall. I like that it's very soft, it stays in place and I can't feel it on my head.
I chose the black but wish there were pretty colors or prints to choose from. I mean, who really wants a black or white towel?! If I could find the same fabric (I haven't looked yet), I'd make my own since I sew. I won't be investing in another at this time due to the price but will keep using this until I can't. I wash my hair once a week, sometimes twice, so this hopefully will last a very long time. Overall I recommend this hair towel if you're willing to pay the price.
