It's not an off red or orange, etc. Jusy aheads uo though, you do have to put the happy birthday letters on the string yourself, which kind of sucks.       Perhaps if I had hours to put these pieces together I would have liked it, but it was a kids party at a location where I had 30 minutes to set everything up—food, plate settings, etc. The pom poms did not have instructions so I gave up on them. The H A P P Y B I R T H D A Y sign was not strung together, just letter cardboard pieces like flash cards, and there was no string to be found so that wasn’t happening either. The balloon garland and bow garland WAS strung together AND easy to expand and hang so that’s why I’m giving it 3 stars. I was able to easily collapse it again for future use. Maybe I’ll have patience some day for the pom poms and read the instructions here on line. They looked lovely. Very colorful. Just no time for that nonsense at a kids party.
