We were looking for something that wouldn't take up a lot of space in our living room and didn't want a coffee table or TV tray tables.
These are perfect! They slide underneath our sofa which has about a 2" bottom clearance and is tall enough to go over our legs when seated. They are also really easy to move around, not heavy at all.
As for the quality, it was as we expected. We've read other reviews stating they looked cheap. This is the same quality if not less than box chain stores. We specifically like the design of these over others because of their simplicity: no extra vertical bars, visible weld seams, and has an overall clean look.

Damaged but will be functional
Decent for the price but despite the packaging, the top came damaged. For the price tho I can't complain too much. We have a large low profile sectional pushed back into the corner of the room and when I sit on the innermost corner there's now where to set a glass or coffee mug. This slides under easily and will work great as I hoped. Compared to other wood top versions that I was considering, I liked that this came as all one piece without having the big bolts on the corners. I will prob end up spray painting the gold part a different color come spring.
