We bought this bunny for our son’s first Easter basket in 2019…he was six months old. And he has tons of loveys, but something about the texture of this one was easy for him to locate in his crib and he QUICKLY latched onto it. They were inseparable and it really was the cutest thing until the bunny started to go missing regularly. Why? Because this bunny got stuffed in EVERYTHING. We named the bunny Bilbo because he always seemed to be off on an adventure, and we would try and tell our son at night that Bilbo would return eventually, just go to sleep without him. But it never worked - without Bilbo, he was inconsolable. So, we bought a second bunny. We tried telling him it was Bilbo the next time he went missing and it did not work at all…Bilbo was dirty and ragged and a little rough…this bunny was soft and clean. So, we searched frantically and found Bilbo, and we kept the new bunny and named him PJ. My kid loves both, but the original Bilbo is HANDS DOWN his favorite. My son is almost four and he still carries Bilbo everywhere - to school, in the car, on vacation…it’s slightly nerve-wracking because if we ever really do lose him I will be more of a mess than my son!!! Giving this item five stars and I would give it ten if I could. However, dear manufacturers, please listen up - the material update SEEMS like a good idea - softer and cleaner - but there are multiple reviews telling you the same thing, that the old material was better!! Kids love the semi-rough texture!! And parents don’t care if it gets a little ratty, it’s adorable and treasured and keeps the kids happy. The new material is fine - I still buy this bunny for every baby shower gift I buy to include it. But let’s just say Bilbo is special- and I plan to hold onto him and give him to my son when he leaves for college with a note: “Bilbo always found his way back home - you do the same.”

The world is a happier place with Bunny
My son lovessss his bunny. I have bought at least 15 of these because if we don't have bunny, the world will end. We now have to have 2 bunnies at all times because my son found my extra bunny stash and requires "more bunny". We have extras everywhere - in the car, at grandmas houses, at aunties house, circulating the washing machine. You can see the difference in a brand new bunny and a bunny that has endured being transported alongside a toddler for 2 years - being dragged through dirt, washed over 50 times, acting as a napkin, but most importantly being the best relief during any meltdown and helping put my toddler to bed every night. There would be no sleep without bunny, so Mary Myers, take all my money. I will be back again and again, and again.....maybe I'll even be buying my son a new one for his wedding day. Whether it's a new fluffy bunny or a old crunchy bunny, they're all loved the same. May all the lost bunnies rest in peace and know how loved they once were.

The original bunny was in my son’s Easter basket, which I carefully selected due to it being washable, and “Bunbun” quickly became his favorite lovey. After a few months I bought a second bunny as a backup (I can’t recommend this highly enough). I absolutely love the quality of the lovey; the first one has been through the wash numerous times and his little paws are essentially used as a teether, yet he’s still in great shape! I’m sure you can’t go wrong with any of the loveys…and as you can see, Bunbun is well loved! My fourteen month old can’t fall asleep without him.

Just to get it out there- yes, the "third arm" is a thing and no, it is not a mistake. All the bunnies will have one. I think in reality, it is meant to look like the rabbit is holding a blanket too, but it looks more like, well, a third arm. It would be simple to remove though.

That said- this bunny has been going everywhere with my 4 month old son. It is the perfect size- not too small but not overwhelmingly big for a baby. It travels in the carseat or stroller well. The material is cozy and soft. The thickness of the blanket makes it easy for babies to grab, but not so think it flops around. My son also loves to wave it about as well as gnaw on it. He enjoys rubbing his face against it too, especially to help him get to sleep.
UPDATE: My son is now 19 months old, and his "Bun Bun" is still by far his most loved toy. It goes to sleep with him every night and nap. He loves to hold it and run its ears through his hands. Such a loved stuffed toy obviously is going to get dirty, so here's some info about that. The tag says to hand wash, but it can be run through a washing machine (we put it in laundry bags when we do so). It may move the stuffing around a bit though, which is probably why the tag recommends hand washing. We technically have "Bun Bun" triplets, so we can exchange them out in case one gets lost or dirty or ruined.

Always my son’s favourite! So soft and good quality. On the right was given by a friend from the US (probably got this from the US) and my has been using it for 2 years (since birth).
