Smoothing it was a little more difficult as it would give wrinkles but, I just peeled it back and smoothed as I reapplied it and it was fine. Print quality is really good. I guess you can call it silver and gray but it almost has a little bit of a greige like a tan gray. But I think it will work. I couldn't be more pleased! I am Using the white wood to recover kitchen cabinets in a 1979 mobile home with pressboard laminated cabinets.. Half done and could not be more pleased. They look like I had NEW cabinets installed. It's really a bit time consuming yet absolutely worth the results! Painting laminate is useless regardless of prep. So I lightly sanded all surfaces, wiped clean and got to work.
TIPS...
Go slow.. Take your time and you get no rips or bubbles.
2.Use hair dryer or heat gun gently and any bubbles you get from going to fast dissappear.
3. When doing cabinet doors or drawer fronts, I will wrap it like a present and you have a nice finished look. It takes a little more to do it that way. But the finished product is excellent.

I bought 2 of the 17.5 x 393 rolls for SMALL kitchen, but I bought 2 more now so I can match both bathroom vanities and built in cabinets/buffet in my dining room. I can hardly wait to finish! I'll post more pictures when complete.
