    I have an x-wide foot which can make it a little more tricky to find shoes. I have long been a brooks ghost and new balance 1080 fan which I alternate on different runs. I picked these up because there was a pair someone had returned and they were cheap so I thought why not take a chance. I now wear these pretty much for every run and just use my other shoes for my walk around time or other work outs. They are nice and wide and the support and cushioning they provide is far superior to the other two I mentioned in my experience. For me the brooks sole wants to role up in the shoes when it gets just a little wet which is an annoyance and the new balance 1080 in specific just isn’t quite wide enough to comfortable for my foot especially on long runs (10+ miles). I typically run 45ish miles a week and these shoes are great. I have to stop from ordering three more pairs in case they become hard to get as some point.
