UPDATE: Seller immediately contacted me after review was posted. Seller stands behind these plates and sent out another set. Seller mentioned that the chips were due to handling, in their warehouse, prior to being shipped out. The new plates are so far holding up without chipping. Buy with confidence.These are smaller 8” SALAD plates.Unsure why they’re labelled ‘Dinner Plates’ as they don’t’ hold American-sized dinner portions whatsoever?The plates are high-glaze, shiny, and slippery.There bottom of the plates are entirely white and lack directions for care, nor branding info.I’ve used them sparingly and washed/dried them by hand.Needless to say, I’ve babied these salad plates.The other day, I noticed that one is chipped in several places.It’s not terribly noticeable nor does it affect the functionality.I venture to say these are cheap ceramic vs porcelain as advertised, which is disappointing.

    Love these plates. Each of them has a different design but in the same color palette. They are practical for salads or fruit and yet easy to clean. Dishwasher and microwave safe. If I ever find dinner plates of the same style/design, I will purchase them.

    Got these plates and upon unboxing them, my initial impression was that the designs on them were great. They were packaged well and were received with no damage. They're plates so other than saying that the design and style are great, there's not much else to say.

    My only concern is that they have no markings on the bottom of the plate which is something that I have become accustomed to when it comes to dishes. Usually you'll see the country of origin and addtional handling instructions, etc.

    Value: $36 at the time of review, this is an ok deal. If it was in the $20s then it would have better value to me.
