i just received this purse last night, so no comments about durability yet, but the zipper moves really smoothly and the seams all feel sturdy. The crossbody strap is a different material from the Uniqlo version; it’s a thicker and slightly heavier weave.
I put all my usual items inside (wallet, keys, phone, battery pack) and there was still room for 1-2 smaller items, just like with the Uniqlo bag. I have a foldable backpack that folds down to the size of an iPad, and with some squishing, I was even able to get that into the purse as well. It’s a lot more expandable than you think and will do very well for a day trip in the city.
Overall, this is an excellent dupe for the viral version—I was pleasantly surprised by how similar they felt, right down to the slight puffiness of the exterior layers. I certainly wouldn’t be able to tell the difference if I saw someone out and about with this purse versus the name-brand one.
Bonus: if this gets dirty (and it will, being such a light color), it can go into the washing machine, and if it gets damaged there, I won’t cry too much about it, at these prices!
