Pros: 30 seconds to set up and take down. Mattress is comfortable. We have a belly sleeper 8 month old so the mesh sides have me peace of mind when she rolled her face into the side. Carrying case is easy to travel with and big enough to get it re-packed easily. Sturdy- our baby stood up and pulled on the edges it still held up really well.
Cons: mattress isn't breathable. Our girl is 8 months so I know she can turn her head but for a younger baby I might worry if they sleep face down.
We used this with the portable hatch machine. I love how small it is because it's easy to travel with and fits in a small hotel bathroom. We put her in the bathroom to sleep because there's no windows so it's blacked out, with our monitor on the bathroom counter. Worked great, we usually use the newton mattress at home. She slept from 8pm-6am with one minor wake up at 3am. Just like at home!
