My kids, ages 5 and 3, really enjoy Charades for Kids. The images make it easy for emergent readers to engage independently. Most items are known to the kids and can be acted out independently as well. I found it to be a great way to engage everyone! It’s also a great gift to keep on hand.

For 3 or more players, ages 4 and up
The classic game of Charades - now designed especially for kids to play and enjoy! With three levels of clues, each card has one pictured clue, so no reading is required (although the combination of the picture and its corresponding word reinforces early reading skills). Younger players can act out a toothbrush, a cat or a bumblebee. Older children can read the simple words and phrases and act out actions! It's great fun for the whole family as they try to guess the charade before time runs out!

Playing with Charades for Kids (Peggable)
Easy Set Up
Game includes 150 cards with 450 charades, 1 game die, 1 sand timer and complete instructions. To get ready to play, simply shuffle the cards and place the deck face down on the table.
Reading is Not Required to Play
The youngest player starts the game by rolling the game die and turning over the top card of the deck. The player looks at the charade that corresponds to the number that was rolled. Non-reading players will select the picture that is on the card - they do not roll the die.
Fun for the Whole Family!
Once the timer is flipped, the player starts acting out the charade to the player on the left. Actions and noises are allowed when you charade, but no words! Players are allowed only one guess for each turn. If the first guess is incorrect, the next player gets to guess, and so on. When you guess correctly, you win the card being played. Be the first player to collect three cards to win!

Perfect family game
We have a bunch of young children, and this game was perfect for all of us to play together! The children who haven’t learned how to read yet can still play because each card has a picture as one of the choices on the card. All the children in our family enjoyed it, (ages 3-11)

Good for Confidence & Communication
I remember the first time we played Charades for Kids, my son was so excited to pick a card. He chose a dog, and immediately started barking around the living room. I love how this simple little game can bring so much joy, playfulness, and creativity. I can't recommend this game enough, it's the perfect way to spend quality time with the family, and create lasting memories.
