I've tried just about every facial cleanser on the market over the past 20 years. For the longest time, I settled on CeraVe as my go-to. It felt like a solid, dependable choice. But then I tried this, and everything changed.
CeraVe is still a decent second, but it’s a distant second. Sure, it cleans your face, but when you’re done, there’s no real feeling of transformation. No real difference. With Kiehl’s, that’s not the case. When I rinse it off, my face feels fresh, revitalized—new. The skin looks clearer, smoother, even a bit brighter. It’s almost unbelievable how noticeably clean and healthy it looks afterward.
There’s a level of satisfaction I get from using Kiehl’s that no other cleanser has come close to matching. And that’s not a dig at CeraVe—it’s a great option for people with sensitive skin who want something gentle and effective. But Kiehl’s goes the extra mile. It delivers results you can see and feel.
The only downside? It can be a little drying. But that’s easily resolved with a quality moisturizer post-use. For me, it’s a non-issue.
Bottom line: I don’t see myself using anything else.
