Product Description

Create fun doodles and colorful notes with these dot markers. Depending on how much pressure you use, the dot tip can make marks from 1 to 5 mm wide. By varying the pressure as you draw, you can make expressive, brush-like strokes. You can also use the dot tip to highlight important dates in your planner or calendar.     I got these because I love pens and I saw someone else was using them for lists and outlines. They make perfect round light color dots that I can use as checkboxes (check “circles”) on lists in my planner and other notebooks. Sure, you could draw a circle with a marker but what fun is that?

    I usually don't write reviews, but wanted to share for the fact that I probably use this product for something other than what it's typically used for. I do counted cross stitch. When the patterns are complex it can often be difficult to keep track of where I am in the pattern. So I make an enlarged copy of the pattern and use the dot markers to mark off on the pattern the stitches I've completed. The mild colors work beautifully for this, as the dot fits within the patterns squares and the mild color allows me to still see the pattern symbol.

    Colours are soft/pastel yet dark enough to pop on the page (they look somewhat brighter in the photo I attached). When you first dab the paper, there is a darker center spot that I wasn't impressed with but that does fade as the ink dries. Circle size will depend on the pressure used (so you can have larger/smaller circles as you prefer).

    Note: there is some bleed thru behind the page (Leuchtturm) but not on Archer & Olive. The 2nd photo I attached shows the back of the test page (Leuchtturm).
