I use this in my motorcoach and I’m thinking about buying another one for home. I went through 3 Keurig coffee makers over the years. I have a Mr. coffee and an electric percolator. High Quality Product
This is a beautiful, well made coffee pot, that performs excellently. The base fits perfect on our camp stove, and it made coffee at least 3 times faster than our old aluminum pot. You can feel the weight and quality of everything, including the stainless steel internal parts. The solid handle did get hot to the touch. However, the coil on the top handle, kept it cool. It held 6, 8 oz cups of water to the bottom of the spout. Using a Colleti flat filter, 6 TBS of medium ground coffee, and perking on medium low for 6 minutes, made a rich, delicious pot of coffee. Look forward to it seasoning and making even better coffee at the camp site. For the 5th Star, I would add wood to the fixed handle, so it would be cooler to the touch. Although, the heat may be welcomed on a chilly camping morning. Colleti makes a different pot with a wooden handle. However, I liked the style of this one better. I might try wrapping the handle with a leather shoe lace. The light metal 'hinge' on the lid, can be gently adjusted for a better fit of the lid.

Absolute garbage
When you put the coffee “container” inside of the percolator and try to shut the lid..it doesn’t close. Whoever measured the circumference and diameter of this coffee component container should be fired, as per the 1st and 2nd photo.KayAbsolute garbage

3rd photo: that thin, flexible piece of metal holding the lid on should last 3-4 times before it breaks off. Can’t clean that portion properly either so I can only imagine the mold that would grow.
Terrible design, the lid doesn’t close and the bendy straw piece of metal holding the lid on is just ridiculous. For $100 I expect the lid to at least close and for the device to actually function. Do not waste your money.
