I'm a woman who's nearly 70 years old and my hair is like salt and pepper grey. I don't mind grey hair, but the sides were getting so light that it looked like I was starting to go bald, even though I have plenty of hair. Saved My Hair
As a teen and in my early 20s, I bleached my hair and kept it platinum blonde, and it was to my waist. As time went on, the chemicals and chronic health conditions did not do my hair any favors. It finally snapped, literally, and I had to stop. Which was a great thing as I learned about the health damages all those chemicals can have. Anyway, fast forward, my natural hair is finally recovering and the dark blonde/light brown has come in to my mid lengths. The bottom was still blonde. I toned it down with a healthier color depositing mask and that was a huge mistake. As it washed out I was left with...red. Not happy at all, I almost reached for hair color again, which probably would have sent my hair breaking off again. But I used this instead, and it saved my hair. Does it have the best ingredients? No. But my hair is softer than it has been in years, and it matches my natural color. I can focus on hair growth and never touch a box of hair color again. I used it in the shower for 10 minutes after shampooing and squeezing out as much water from my hair as possible.
