I love this scale and recommend it highly over the more expensive options out there.
I had a used version of this scale previously, it was a hand me down from a friend who was moving and it lasted me about 5years. When it finally died I upgraded to a more expensive scale but I very realized it was no match for my old one so it got returned and I bought my previous Amazon one again.
It’s made well, easy to operate and read but most important to me is its accuracy, its incredibly accurate no need to set items in one spot wherever it sits on the plate it will weigh accurately. It’s not to big and can easily be stored in a drawer. I’m allergic to gluten but I love sweets so I bake alot and I can easily get accurate measurements in grams or ounces which is important with gluten free baking. I love this scale and it’s honestly 10 x better than the fancy one I first tried so I highly recommend it.

Great Scale, But That Timeout Will Ruin Your Flow.
For an $11.49 kitchen scale that includes batteries, this is a solid buy. It’s been accurate for all my baking needs, and I haven’t had any issues with measurements. My desserts have turned out great because of its precision, so in terms of functionality, it does what it’s supposed to do. That being said, the automatic timeout is frustrating. It shuts off after about two minutes, which is way too short if you’re following a recipe, grabbing another ingredient, or referring to a video. This is especially annoying if you’ve just tared your bowl and are in the middle of measuring. Once it turns off, you have to start over, which can slow things down and get really frustrating. All in all, if you move quickly in the kitchen, this scale is a great deal. It’s affordable, accurate, and even comes with batteries, which was a nice bonus. But if you take your time measuring ingredients and don’t want to deal with the constant shutoff, you might want to look for a scale with a longer auto-off period.
