I purchased this round tray as a centerpiece for my dining room table. I plan on keeping it on my table and switching out the decor on it for each holiday or season. It’s built sturdy and has a nice weight to it when lifted. It stays in place and doesn’t move around on my table. The shade of black is not glossy. It has a very nice color to it. The lip around the tray has a rope-like design that gives it detail. It’s not a large tray. The measurements are listed which are accurate but it still seemed smaller when I received it and actually started trying to place items on it. It serves it purpose though and I’m happy with it. It’s worth what I paid. I think it makes my table come together.
