It features a sturdy nickel-coated steel “windproof’ frame which you can snap back to its proper shape should a strong gust of wind cause the canopy to invert It is 15 ½” long, fits in most backpacks, carry-ons, duffels, tote bags and more. A wide variety of colors are available, so why not buy a few for friends and family? They'll love you for it
  • CANOPY - The arc measures 42” and provides approximately 36” of open diameter coverage, which comfortably covers one adult or two close friends. The canopy is made from 8 sections of waterproof 190 threads per square inch ‘Pongee’ polyester that are cut by hand and carefully sewn to provide a perfect fit of canopy to frame. Each panel is constructed with a vent that allows the wind to pass through, which protects the umbrella from wind damage.
  • HANDLE - The handle is color-coordinated with the umbrella canopy and has a fashionable rubberized coating which provides a comfortable and firm grip; a hand stitched wrist loop is part of the handle. Each umbrella comes with a matching case

    A case of getting what you pay for. The release button/mechanism could not be built more cheaply and fails when the actuator jumps out of the button's track for it. However, because this problem is readily visible and accessible inside the plastic handle, a small prybar such as a flathead screwdriver blade can be used to reposition the track and restore functionality.
