    I love these. They make me happy every time I look at them. Honestly, I wouldn’t care if they didn’t work at all because I just love looking at them. Exactly as pictured and just so so cute.
    Now to the functionality piece: they do reduce drying time as advertised which I appreciate so much. As other reviewers mentioned, they are clunky and absolutely will make noise in your dryer, especially when used with smaller loads. I can live with that because my laundry room is in a separate room from my main living area but if your laundry is in your main living space (like in a closet) and you are sensitive to noise, these are probably not for you. I’ve been using them for about 6 months now and I do A LOT of laundry. These have not deteriorated at all, they look brand new still, they have never developed a smell, and they dry quickly anytime they absorb water from large loads. I haven’t had to use dryer sheets since I started using these so they have definitely paid for themselves at this point.
    I would buy them again. And I have. After I bought mine I bought them as a gift for someone else too. Definitely worth the money.

    I am not going to get on my rant about fabric softeners... ok, they are bad for you, your clothes, the environment, and your dryer. I have used plain old white dryer balls for years and was informed that they wear out so I bought these adorable dryer balls. I paid extra for the adorableness and it is worth every penny because I smile every time I toss them in the dryer - not an insubstantial benefit because, well, I'm doing laundry. I have cat hair in my house, so much cat hair, most of it due to a Maine Coon who should be bald with the amount of fur he unloads. He is like Pigpen in Charlie Brown cartoons, but with a cloud of fur following him instead of dirt. Anyway, these balls work well in pulling cat hair and lint from my clothes - at least as well as fabric softeners. And of course there is no added scent (a rant for another day). The old ones seemed to send the hair to the dryer filter while these do that and also weave hair and lint together into a few larger strands, which are then very easily pulled off of clothing. I do think they soften clothing, but nothing helps with static cling here in the desert. I also put a little vinegar in the fabric softener receptacle, which helps. So many reasons to adore these little creatures - buy them!

    These dryer balls are so cute I almost didn’t want to toss them in the dryer. They work great, helping clothes dry faster and come out soft without static. I’ve tried the cheap ones from the store, and these are definitely a big step up. They’re holding up much better with no signs of falling apart.

    Only complaint is the price. They cost about four times more than the store-bought kind, but if they keep lasting like this, I’ll probably save money in the long run. Worth it for the quality and the cuteness.
