My son names the colors of all the blocks as he puts them in, he counts them, stacks them, and his motor skills are definitely being worked on! I honestly think this toy is one of the reason his motor skills are so good now. Such a great buy!

Adding the blocks to the houses standing up, laying down or even using the blocks by themselves for stacking or in the sunlight! Disclaimer... my son is 26 months old, and he can fit 1 block in his mouth, so I do recommend supervised play. I'm not sure he could swallow a cube but I don't want to to find out!
