Product Description

The perfect texture for cleaning up around the house, the Dawn Cellulose Sponge Cloth is soft like a cleaning cloth, with the same properties as a sponge. It's made from premium cellulose that's ideal for washing dishes by hand. Since it's flexible like normal cloth, it can get into corners and wrap around rims, while the cellulose also holds water and soap, so it stays wet enough for efficient cleaning. This is a set of two sponge cloths, so you can keep one in the kitchen and one in the bathroom to quickly wipe the counter when needed. Each cloth is a generous 7.1 inches by 7.9 inches. To keep it clean and to sanitize it, the cloth is dishwasher safe.

I have used another national name brand version of these for years. The Dawn version are well sized and work as the others did. However, directly from the package the inside cloth (blue) was dotted with what appears to be rust-like marks and it is noticeably thinner than the outer (purple) cloth. I think these will work but the quality and consistency of product is clearly below that of their competition. When I need new cloths, I'll be looking at other brands.

    I have not had any problems with this product. They are totally awesome and easy to keep clean. I was so disappointed when I could no longer find them in the store. It took me a bit to find the name "DAWN DUO". I don't know the last time I ordered a two pack, but my first of the two has started to come apart and I am ordering now so I don't forget. I know the one I just took out of the package will give me months of use. The pads are the perfect size to clean a non-stick skillet and has the soft side for plastics. I toss mine in the washing machine like a standard washcloth.

    I think these would be good for cleaning/ housekeeping purposes. As for using them for washing dishes they don't have the rigidity needed to properly washed, and because of the rubbery texture I sort of sticks as you try to. They also don't hold soap very well, on the other hand, they do hold a liquid, such as all- purpose cleaner very well.
