This cutting board is pretty decent, but mine arrived with a sizeable crack down the backside. The wood is thick, three layers (shown in the picture) and came well conditioned without splinters. The wood isn't dry, rough, or warped. The crack is a really unfortunate blemish on an otherwise well made product. The crack will get worse with time and use with really shortened the life of this product right out of the box, but it should hold up for a little bit, so I'm giving it three stars. Good size for cutting meats and larger vegetables, breads, and other bigger items, but its thin so it tucks away easily.
