- Reviewed in the United States on January 9, 2022Color: Polished NickelSize: 15 AmpStyle: Surface MountPattern Name: ELECTRICAL_OUTLETVerified PurchaseAfter installing a new counter in the kitchen the new single level counter did not have a location like the previous 2 level counter with bar top. We needed an outlet for the appliances that would be used on occasion therefore we purchased this pop up outlet. The outlet is very sturdy and operation is very reliable and easy to use. Would recommend this product as I did compare others an they did not appear to be as well constructed. Quality product as the old saying goes you get what you pay for.

Also, we have 20 amp! You have a choice between 15 or 20 amp. My husband’s says you’ll need a whole lot to even need a 20 amp, like a freeze dryer, but we have it just in case. Most kitchens don’t need but a 15 amp.
The new rules in Kentucky as of January 1, 2025 are to have these instead of the side outlets. We were grandfathered I’m with side outlets and our permit, so we chose to do both. My husband also created a side panel to be able to gain access incase we had to switch it out for some reason.
These are fantastic! My husband is an electrician and says this one is the one to use. It’s made of metal hardware and not plastic. It’s more pricey, but worth the money. Plus, it charges your phone when you set it on top of it! Score! We purchased two of them to go on both ends of the island.

- Reviewed in the United States on August 8, 2023Color: Polished NickelSize: 15 AmpStyle: Surface MountPattern Name: ELECTRICAL_OUTLETVerified Purchasecompare with others, this brand seems have a good quality and the size is manageable. But the brushed nickel still look cheap compare with my other brushed nickel appliances and faucet nearby. However, it is the only one has a reasonable price with kitchen island waterproof rate. Others are all on their $300 range. Not great but good for now until better products come up and we will definitely replace this.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 6, 2024Color: Brushed AluminumSize: 15 AmpStyle: Flush MountPattern Name: ELECTRICAL_OUTLETVerified PurchaseI love this pop up outlet! It’s made such a huge difference for my long kitchen peninsula. Rather than have cords and cables running over the edge to the wall, I can easily plug in small appliances I don’t use constantly like the mixer, crock pot, or my cell phone charger. When you’re done, just stow it away in the countertop! The stainless steel finish looks very sleek and high-end. The only thing to be careful of is placement — depending on depth of the countertop, you may need a shorter drawer box because this will require some space below the countertop and room to run the electrical. We were doing a re-model and could have our cabinetry designed with this in mind.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 6, 2024Color: Polished NickelSize: 15 AmpStyle: Flush MountPattern Name: ELECTRICAL_OUTLETVerified PurchaseWith electrical code changes countertop outlets will become far more common. I think they are taking this outlet every 4' thing a little too far, but my wife loves these and thinks they are great. So there is that. And while I mostly have done remodeling, she does new building. And whether code requires it or not she always installs these, and I mean this brand and model. She says both buyers and renters love them.
I prefer an island with a raised bar/seating area, giving me a small wall along the lower portion to install outlets. I find that a better design style. But she likes her peninsulas and islands to all be one height, and in that case these are the ideal solution.
Others have commented on characteristics they do not like, but I find it easy to push down and have it pop, slowly, open, and just as easy to push back down. They underside electrical connection area is well designed and really solid. Nothing cheap about it. And it includes a cable clamp. An excellent solution for maintaining an outlet ever 4' regardless of the location.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 13, 2021Color: Powder Coated WhiteSize: 20 AmpStyle: Flush MountPattern Name: ELECTRICAL_OUTLETVerified PurchaseI needed a receptacle in a countertop to satisfy electrical code for a kitchen's receptacles. I bought one of these, had the granite guys drill a hole for it, and had an electrician install it. It worked great. Action is a little firm (takes a good one-handed push to pop it up) but that is a good thing in such a high traffic area. When wired into a GFCI receptacle or on a GFCI circuit, depending on proximity to a water source, these do meet code for kitchens/bathrooms. Inspectors had no issue with it.
Once installed, it is sturdy and the color and finish is very modern and blends right in with lighter color schemes. I'd always put a little silicone between it and the countertop just to be sure, but otherwise nothing special required. This will be my go-to in the future if I need a pop-up receptacle.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 12, 2024Color: Polished NickelSize: 20 AmpStyle: Flush MountPattern Name: ELECTRICAL_OUTLETVerified PurchaseI’ve purchased 9 of these they are great. I own 4 the others are for clients. I recommend this product and price is very reasonable. It doesn’t say 20 amp on it it has 3 letters TRC but it is 20 amp. Or look at the plug it needs to have a cross slot. Great product
