Well, this is the most useful computer accessory I've had in a long while. My old MacBook finally died, so I just bought a new M1 MacBook Pro - and frowned hard at the lack of ports on it. I bought a pricey cable from Apple that included one HDMI port, one USB port and one USB-C port, but that wasn't getting the job done for me. I was having to unplug my USB external keyboard to plug in my USB external hard drive to run Time Machine back-ups. With this simple, small little gizmo there's no more "either/or", now I can "and" as much as I need to. It has room to plug in my external monitor, keyboard, backup drive and printer (my printer's wireless interface is no longer working). The space grey shade is very, very close to the Mac's. And it cost just over half what Apple's less useful cable cost. Fingers crossed that it lasts a good long while.

I ordered this product for my M1 MacBook Air and it works perfectly for my USB drive, SD card as well as HDMI. I love that it has so many ports and is light in weight.
I picked this one and it was a risk but I wanted to match my laptop color. And it is a perfect match. It looks like an extension of the laptop and fits very snug so no issue with falling out.
I would recommend buying this product if you're looking for multiple ports and a match for the Rose gold variant of the M1 MacBook Air.
