There are 2 main pockets. I have a larger phone and it fits fine in the larger pocket that fits closer to my body as well as several other things. The smaller pocket has plenty of room for money, credit cards, keys, etc. The zipper is plastic but seems very sturdy. There is room in the bigger pocket for a gun and if you had a smaller phone that could go in the smaller pocket. Not guessing..we tried it. I walk a lot and go to the gym so it's just perfect for what I need. I'm going to put a small bottle of hand sanitizer and lipstick in it, too. I believe it is washable, too. Really pleased...especially for the price!!

So after trying 4 different belt bags I almost gave up trying to find one that would be easily adjustable to my medium size waist. However, this one did the trick. Just a simple pull one way or pull the other. That's it. No excess hanging straps, no complicated dual adjustments. Plenty of room in this somewhat small bag...got my phone, wallet, and keys in without trouble. As far as durability, its too early to tell you, but the material is somewhat indestructible (it won't easily biodegrade the environment when it makes its way into the garbage dump) and the zippers are no stiff at all.
