Honestly works great!
It's definitely just a smidge loose for my tree. Despite my tree matching the dimensions of the holder. I didn't need the resizing attachments because my pole is quite substantial. I'm definitely noticing a very small wobble. When I added the ornaments I tried to balance out that weight a little bit to counteract that lean that was happening and that helped. To be honest I have no idea how this motor is holding up so well with the degree of weight that it's being put under. Even with all the ornaments on it, I am not noticing any additional sound or any additional strain that I'm observing on that motor. The plugs work well too. There are three outlets which is exactly what I needed for my tree topper, the red and green lights, and the white lights. The tree even managed to stand up with me getting under it to unplug things and hit the switch and wrestle my cat from under it. So I would say it's pretty sturdy. However, when trying to move it at all, the legs will very easily come off. So make sure wherever you put it is exactly where you want it to stay. For the price, I think it's honestly a great buy. This stand is good enough, we kept it and are using it, BUT it does not hold the base of the tree tightly enough. Both the tree and the stand we purchased are from Best Choice Products and per the product description should have been more exactly compatible. (The tree we put in it was the 6' Tinsel Tree. My 2nd picture shows the diameter of the pole at the center of the bottom of the tree just as an FYI.) The tree was tending to tilt slightly and was slipping, resulting in the rotation of the plug for the lights outpacing the rotation of the tree. This resulted in the light cord becoming pulled taught and strained. My husband engineered a fix but this should not have been needed. EDIT: After a couple of evenings' use, the motor started to make some noise and a "pop!" sound started happening with enough frequency to be annoying. Still turning smoothly, though.
Overall the stand is sturdy and stable. It rotates smoothly and is very quiet.
The tree (which is the Champagne Gold color) can be seen rotating in the video. I left the tree skirt off so the size of the stand in relation to the tree could be seen. The tree is lit with a small flood light and has a plugged-in illuminated star at the top.
