    Best water filter ever!
    We just replace our original Big Berkey which we had for about 10 years and lost it in a move. It’s amazing how much better the tap water tastes using the Berkey. No more buying bottles of water, it pays for itself in a few months. Helps save the environment.

      My husband and I placed this on our wedding registry. We ended up getting gift cards and knew immediately we wanted the Berkey first and foremost out of everything we had left. It was easy to assemble, and flushing the filters was really easy, just make sure to read all of the instructions before starting the process. By doing this you’ll make sure you follow the steps and that you use the proper attachments to do the flushing of the filters. We couldn’t be more happy with this purchase, and look forward to our pure water from the Berkey for years to come.

      I bought the 2.25 gal system with 2 black elements and 2 white PF-2 Elements in November 2024. I primed all 4 elements four times during a month-long try out period. The water filtering rate was mostly fast for the first top quarter tank, and the remaining portion was very slow. Sometime it still remained 1/3 tank unfiltered after overnight. The most unbearable was the white residue (powder) stayed on the surface of the lower tank, my kettle and water bottles. I suspected some of my filtering elements were defective. I eventually returned it.
