They are pretty. My daughter keeps telling me they would look nice next to a pond. We don’t have a pond but we do have a pool. I’ll likely move them outside by the pool when the weather improves. I plan to mix them in with some others. I think they will add a nice splash of color to my garden.

    Okay, so let's be honest, my thumb is less green and more... translucent. My attempts at gardening have primarily resulted in the valiant sacrifice of innocent seedlings. So, when I saw these artificial lavender bundles promising a pop of purple without the inevitable plant-funeral, I was intrigued.

    And folks, I'm not gonna lie, these little dudes are pretty darn good. I opted for the Deep Purple variety and let me tell you, they looked EXACTLY like the pictures. In a world of online shopping where "beige" somehow translates to "neon orange," this was a welcome surprise.

    The quality is, dare I say, surprisingly good. They're not going to fool botanists at Kew Gardens, but from a reasonable distance (say, across the porch), they pass for real. They even have those little grassy bits that real lavender hangs out with! My neighbors probably think I've suddenly developed magic gardening skills, and I'm not about to correct them.

    The UV resistance is being put to the test out here in the scorching sun, and so far, so good. They're holding their color and not disintegrating into a plastic dust bunny apocalypse. That's more than I can say for my last attempt at growing actual basil.

    Now, here's the honest truth: These aren't going to smell like lavender, obviously. You're not going to be able to use them for tea, or aromatherapy, or charming garden gnomes. But, if you're like me and your gardening skills top out at keeping a cactus alive (barely), these artificial lavender bundles are a fantastic alternative.

    Pros:

    Looks exactly as shown in the photos (hallelujah!)
    Good quality, fairly lifelike appearance
    UV resistant (allegedly! Jury's still out on the long-term test)
    No watering, weeding, or existential plant dread required

    Cons:

    Doesn't smell like lavender (duh)
    Might accidentally convince your neighbors you're a competent gardener, which is a lie you'll have to maintain.
    May lead to an existential crisis about the nature of reality and the artificiality of our modern lives... but maybe that's just me.

    Overall Verdict:

    Five out of five plastic purple thumbs up. If you want a low-maintenance pop of color that won't die on you, these are the real deal. Just don't expect them to hold up their end of a conversation about soil pH. They're plastic, after all. Give them a try - your (and my) lack of gardening skills will thank you for it.

    The silk petals look real, the yellow flowers are pretty plastic looking, and the green fronds are a hmm, are they or aren't they (get close enough and yes they are). I'm going to use them with other kinds of flowers in planter boxes in a shady area of my porch, so for my purpose they're just perfect. If I were in a physical store and saw them I may think they were a little pricey, depending what my other options looked like.

    These delicate flowers look a lot like freesia, and includes grass greenery. They are very pretty and will make a great arrangement, or compliment combos of different flowers.

    There are 8 individual piks, and I took a photo of 2 in a 12" vase. All together, the 8 bundles would make a nice pot. I plan to use one or two as accents in larger pots with a variety of flower types. They are well made, didn't have any detached items in the box, and spread out well by hand. Quite happy with this bundle.

    The flowers are OK. The colors or not 100% realistic if you look at it closely. However if used for plants that are 10-15ft from the typical vantage point then it'll be hard to know it's artificial.

    This is much prettier in person than what it shows in the picture. Once you get it and fluff it out, the flowers are vibrant and the green is just enough. I used this to help fill out an artificial floral arrangement for our dining room table and it looks great! You could also use this outdoors in a planter box to put on a porch. The "branches" give a lot of fullness and it looks fabulous!
