The best thermals on a budget. Make sure to Air dry.
I spent a lot of time outdoors in the winter and was looking for something that could serve multiple purposes – skiing , camping, hiking, running in the morning. These have kept me warm through all of this and I’ve even gotten compliments on how cute the set is. My de-piller did come in handy though. These will pill regardless. Mine also got a hole in the crotch but luckily, I know how to sew. That being said these definitely fulfilled their purpose, and I will be buying more. Someday I will be able to afford something of a nicer quality but until then I continue to recommend it to anyone on a budget.

    I ordered the pale pink. I think the top can look great peeking out of a shirt, no one needs to know it’s technically underwear. Too tight to wear on its own, but some people (think 100 lbs, 5’6”) would look fantastic.
    I wore the set to bed and it was toasty warm.
    My husband is a hunter and recommended this brand as the best.

    I am relatively a hot (temperature wise) person. I absolutely hate long sleeve shirts and I'll walk around with a tank top under a cardigan all winter. I've NEVER owned a pair of long John's in my entire 44 years of life. But last week I started experiencing cold biting through the arms of my cardigan INSTEAD of having to remove it because I'm sweating. I started getting so cold I couldn't get warm enough to fall asleep. After layering some pajama bottoms under my VS leggings and feeling that they were so tight like I was going to puke every time I sat down, I decided to get an Amazon and find myself my first pair of long underwear. My hopes and expectations were low. I searched and read, searched and read and searched some more. Everything I've ordered lately, I've had to send back and replace with a smaller size. I am super picky about my regular clothing and feel like every pair of jeans or leggings never fit in between my legs right. I'm constantly pulling up at my waistline so I don't look like a toddler with a full diaper. But I HATE that feeling when your clothes restrict your movement, or move down EVERY time you do ANYTHING. I didn't know what to expect, and after putting multiple items in my cart and taking them out I ended up with this set in a smaller size than Amazon recommended in the color navy. Did I prefer a lighter color to wear under lighter clothes? Sure, but navy was the only option that could be at my door, literally later that day. I was done with being cold. I was prepared to be disappointed.... not to mention I would STILL be cold so my hopes were down.

    I don't know who designed these for women, but I am your number 1 super fan. I've never put something more comfortable on my body in my entire life! They are form fitting without being even the slightest bit tight. The bottoms feel like a regular pair of leggings... except somehow LIGHTER and there was little to no extra fabric, yet somehow just enough to cover all the space in between the top of my socks to right at my belly button. The fabric, which seems to be the same in and out is SO SOFT it feels like my whole body is being hugged by the lightest and fluffiest cloud. The top, let me tell you, I think my biggest hatred of today's clothing is that EVERYTHING seems to be working it's way more towards a crop top. I was pleased to put the top on and have the bottom sit way well below my underwear. I can't express how happy I am to have gotten these on my first try. I literally haven't taken them off since I got them yesterday. Not only have they held there stretch... I am staying at a very nice and warm temperature. Definitely NOT cold... but even if I get a little hot this fabric doesn't hold the hot in. This is EXACTLY what I needed and was looking for. I would recommend these to any woman and they will be the only brand and kind of long John's ill recommend... like ever. Now I'm just not looking forward to having to wash them. I guarantee I'll be putting them right back on!

    Having grown up in the Blizzard Belt of MA, I have dealt with many cold winters. I was desperately in need of some new long johns and read the reviews before buying, and they do not lie about the quality! I was impressed with the comfort, range of motion, fit, and how warm they kept me.

    I am 5'10", 160lbs., have very long legs, and went with a Medium. The top fit perfectly; I liked the slight scoop neck because of it's comfort and ability to layer with, as well as the sleeves being long enough. The pants were long enough in the leg and fit great. However the rise on them was not as high as I would have liked and seemed more low than midrise. They worked, but were lower around my hips than the pants I had on over them.
    Other than that, I recommend them and plan on buying another pair!

    The "comfort food" equivalent of long underwear. Happy to report that Thermajane Long Johns Thermal Underwear provide cozy, cuddly, soft, stretchy warmth without much bulk. Outside texture is similar to sport performance fabric, albeit much softer, and inside texture is akin to a plush micro-microfleece. These work great as pajamas or in lieu of 'round-the-house sweats, and would also function well as underscrubs. Their lovely color palette is a bonus.
    Despite the five-star rating, these would be even more comfy, warm, and functional for me -- and merit more than the maximum five stars -- if their leggings came to the waist instead of being cut to below-the-belly button.

    Our family owns a lot of Thermajane and Thermajohn base layer sets. We have worn them while skiing, during various cold weather outdoor adventures, and I even wear them as wintertime pajamas. They are very breathable and I feel dry even during heavy activity in these base layers. They hold up well to repeated washing and remain soft. I wear a size 6/8 pant and the Medium fits great. My daughter is a 2 and she wears the Small. I'm only 5'1" but the pants are not TOO long - there's some extra material around the ankles but it's not bulky so I don't notice. I could see them being a little short if you are over 5'7", though. Overall these sets are a great value for the money.
