    When I first purchased this one, I can't lie, I had about 15 of them open in multiple browsers... From name brand robes that were almost $70 down to a few very competitively priced models, similar to this one. Over a process of elimination, I got down to this one and the one that was almost $70 and thought, let's just gamble and see. At the price point of this robe, it was easy to make that gamble. When I got the rob I was shocked, this easily matched the $40 to $50 robe quality and now I believe the other reviews that said for the price point, this is one heck of a great robe! I love this color, quality and style, while the softness and size were perfect.

    I spend a lot of time working all day at home on my computer, sometimes wearing only boxer shorts and a robe. So a comfortable fitting robe is necessary to my productivity. This Amazon Essentials Men's Lightweight Waffle Robe is perfect for all day-lounge-work, and checks off all the boxes for comfort and fit and satisfaction.

    When I think of 'waffle' pattern, I immediately think 'warm and thick,' like wearing a coat. But the waffle pattern of this men's robe is more like slightly raised small squares embossed throughout the lightweight fabric that is not suffocating or thermic. This robe breathes, and is good for all day comfort here in air conditioned Florida. Up north, you might consider this a 'summer robe.'

    I wear XL for shirts, but usually go up a size when I buy online. I've purchased this robe twice using XL-XXL. It fits perfectly just below the shoulders. Arm length is right at the wrist cuffs. Length is at the shins with plenty of room to tie off waist. Quality stitching with white piping in lapel, pockets and wrist. Holds up well during machine wash/dry, keeps shape. Slight shrinkage.

    Highly recommended.

    Will buy again.

    This is the first thing I put on in the mornings ever since I got it. I wear it until I can't delay changing into my day clothes any longer. It's so cozy! It's a decent thickness, and I'm a biiig dude so I expected it to be a bit snug. But it's not! It's nice and loose. Flowy even. So the coverage is great. The color is dark, and a little washed out now, but that's okay. I didn't buy it for the color. The only issue I had is that one of the internal "belts" for lack of a better word, tore off in first few days. It hasn't effected my use of it at all though.

    I love these so much I’ve got one in three colours and plan on getting a couple more lol. These are true to size, although I’ve bought way bigger than I needed because that’s how I like them. When I step out of the shower I wrap one of these around me and honestly it’s the coziest and most pleasant way to dry off! They’re very soft against the skin, super absorbent, and once hung back up dry off quickly. Perfect! Light and breathable enough for summer use but still cozy and warm for winter.     This one surprised me with how premium it feels and well-made it is. Only £20 and it's more luxurious than my partner's robe that she bought from a health-spa for nearly 7-times the price.
    It's just so soft, it doesn't feel like cotton/polyester blend it feels like cashmere and cotton, seriously, it's really unbelievable how soft it is even after a few washes.

    It's also lightweight without being paper-thin so it's light and airy enough for summer but I will use it most of the winter too as it's warm and cosy when you wrap it around you and tie it up.

    Regarding the size, I'm a big guy, 198cm and 130Kg, I don't know what that is in 18th-century fluid ounces but it's pretty big, maybe 6.5 to 6.7 and 20+ stones, so I would usually need a 4XL but I took a chance on this as it was so cheap. Surprisingly, the US XL-XXL fits me perfectly.
    Oh, and it's very absorbent, not as much as a thick towelling robe but this good.

    ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - My bargain of 2020. If the price increased to £60 I would still buy another, just in a darker color as my dogs will no doubt put dirty paw prints all over this. The best robe I've owned.
